Son Of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Oluwole Dies At 70

Oluwole Awolowo, the second son of late Yoruba sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo is dead. He died today after a brief illness according to his sister, Tokunbo Awolowo.

It's confirmed that Mr. Oluwole died in London hospital where he had been receiving treatment after a protracted illness.. Until his death Mr. Awolowo was the publisher of the Tribune newspapers.

His body will be repatriated to Nigeria and the burial arrangement will be announced later, Said his sister, Mrs Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosumu.

He's Survived, by his Aged Mother, Chief (Mrs) HID Awolowo, Wife, Sisters, Children, Grand-Daughter, Nieces and Nephews

He was 70 years old. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
