PROFILES OF THE SPEAKERS



**Dr Christopher Kolade Born on December 28, 1932, Christopher Kolade attendedsecondary school, first at Christs School, Ado-Ekiti (1944-45), and then at Government College, Ibadan (1946-51).  He had his university education at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.  He graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelor of Arts in 1954, and a Diploma in Education in 1955.  He was also conferred with an honorary doctorate of the University in Civil Law in 1976.

Christopher Kolades career has spanned the following fields:
·         Education: as Education Officer in Western Nigeria in 1955, first teaching at Government College, Ughelli, and then serving as the pioneer of educational broadcasting until 1960.

·         Broadcasting, first as Controller, Western Region (1960), and then as Director of Programmes, both on TV and Radio, of the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation, NBC.  He served as Director-General of the Corporation from 1972 to 1977.

·         Business as a Director on the Board of Cadbury Nigeria from 1978.  He became chief executive of the company in 1984, and chairman of the Board in 1993, retiring from the Board in February, 2002.

·         Diplomacy In March, 2002, he was appointed Nigerias High Commissioner to the Court of St. James in the UK, a position from which he retired in July 2007.

·         Academia: Between 1995 and 2002, he was on the faculty of the Lagos Business School as Lecturer in Corporate Governance, Leadership and Human Resource Management.  On leaving the diplomatic post in the UK, he returned to the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic (formerly Pan-African) University, as Senior Fellow with teaching and research interest in Corporate Governance and Leadership.  In February 2009, he was appointed Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University, a position from which he retired in February 2015.

He has served as Chairman, Board of Trustees, of Caleb University, Imota,Lagos, since 2006.

Christopher Kolade has, for many years, led initiatives in the promotion of ethical and development issues concerning the nation of Nigeria.  In this connection, he held the chairmanship of the Convention on Business Integrity from 1997 to 2014, and is the Founding and current Patron of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative.  In both positions he has been active in stimulating and coordinating the talent and efforts of younger Nigerians who are promoting positive national development and working to make a value-adding difference in the battle against corrupt practices in the nation.   In 2012, he was appointed Chairman of the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme of the Federal Government, where he served for two years.

Christopher Kolade heads the ministry Managing Business for Christ (MBFC) and also participates in the activities of Apostles in the Market Place (AiMP), both of which strive to assist business men and women to manage their enterprises in accordance with the principles of Christianity.  He is a Lay Canon (Emeritus) of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Guildford, UK, and also shares the Word in churches.

He holds Fellowship of :
·         The Institute of Directors,
·         the Society of Nigerian Broadcasters,
·         the Society for Corporate Governance, Nigeria, (of which he was pioneer President), and
·         the Institute of Personnel Management  Nigeria, where he served as President and Chairman of Council from 1988 to 1993. 
·         He is also a Companion of the Nigerian Institute of Management, of which he was President from 1985 to 1988.

In 1981, Christopher Kolade was awarded the Medal of St. Augustine by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd. Dr. Robert Runcie.  Also in the year 2000, he was awarded the Nigerian national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (C.O.N.)

Christopher Kolade is the Founder of the Christopher Kolade Foundation (CKF), a charity organization that assists in capacity development in the fields of education and Christian religion.

Christopher is married to Beatrice, and they have two daughters and three grandchildren.

**Dr Dawn Cox (MBE) : 


Dare to be Different is Dawns key motto; she openly shares with



the world her business philosophies which are based in ancient wisdom and the 5000 year old eastern philosophies of Feng Shui. Dawn used these practices to expand the business she founded - Flowcrete Group Ltd - into a global success story, with a £50m turnover, 12 manufacturing plants and selling to 50 countries across the world.


Innovation and creativity are at the core of Dawns philosophies, leading her to call on the law of attraction and Feng Shui principles to:-
·         Re-design and re-launch the brand
·         De-clutter and create operational excellence
·         Enhance energy in manufacturing plants in UK and Asia with the use of space clearing

Over the past decade, Dawn has been a volunteer working with the British Government & leaders of industry to set up ten regional centres of best practice sharing for Manufacturing (Manufacturing Advisory Service). In 2006 Dawn was voted most influential person in British Manufacturing, beating of stiff competition from the likes of Richard Branson and James Dyson.

Dawn is the leader of a team of volunteers who have and are transforming the town of Congleton in Cheshire and to kick start the transformation commissioned the first Feng Shui Survey done on a UK town with inspirational results.

Dawn shares her valuable knowledge of leadership, business and Feng Shui with global audiences as a visionary speaker. She educates and entertains audiences with practical tips, moving stories and a touch of humour. Her speaking engagements included road shows with HSBC, Manchester and London Universities and conferences in Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Muscat and Denmark.

Dawn was awarded and MBE and a Pioneer for the Life of our Nation by her Majesty the Queen. She has also been honoured by well known universities for her contribution to Entrepreneurship in the UK receiving an honorary Doctorates of Business Administration from Manchester and Staffordshire Universities.

Dawn is now focusing her energy and commitment on the launch of a charity called The YIN Foundation an educational charity devoted to creating unity. To do this she is setting up social enterprise to support the charity linking a network of volunteers to Make Britain a happy, healthy and prosperous society with the Barefoot Way of living.

Dawn has won major awards for her entrepreneurial flair:
·         Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year
·         Honorary Doctorate and Master Degrees from British universities.
·         MBE and Pioneer to the life of our Nation by Her Majesty the Queen

**Mr Richard Flemming :  
Richard is an experienced Management Consultant, Coach, Mentor, Trainer, a Christian International Ordained Minister (1998 2005) to the Market Place and Author of the book The Glory Returns to the Workplace. He is the founder of Governance Ministries and Workplace Ministers and pioneered the Corporate Church and Kingdom Advice Centre concept.

Richard works with visionaries to harness this growing dynamic as well as implementing and demonstrating the concepts in European Christian Television (1999 todate) and as Charity Centre Landlord (2004 2010) to some 50 charities in Central London.  He was a director and General Manager of God TV during its inception and has been partnering with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) in the USA for more than 16 years.  This working relationship continued in the start-up and development of Channel 7 Broadcasting Group Plc., and in January 2000 TBN Europe became the first 24 hour Christian TV channel to launch in Europe. TBN Europe became a financial division of Governance Ministries, a Charity formed by Richard Fleming in 1994. Richard is involved with TBN's operations in Continental Europe, the Middle East and North African Continent.

In 2012 Richard oversaw the buying and developing of TBN's new 32,000 sq. ft. Church, Production and Broadcast Studios which opened for business in 2014 and this building has become a hub for original UK and European programme production.

2015 saw the launch of the brand new TBN UK channel, on the main Freeview Platform,  Channel 65,  the first 24/7 Christian Channel to put Jesus behind virtually every door of 26 million plus homes in Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England and can be watched by anyone with an aerial and a TV.

**Mr Supa Mandiwazira: 
Supa Mandiwanzira is currently the Minister of Information
& Communications Technology and Postal Services.

He was the immediate Deputy Minister of Information in Zimbabwe and was formerly the President of the Affirmative Action Group (AAG), a business association that promotes Zimbabwean economic growth.

Having started his career working in financial print media, he subsequently moved to the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), for five years as a business and financial reporter before enrolling in a Masters Degree in International Journalism with the City University of London. There, he worked for the BBC and Reuters financial Television, as well as becoming the Londoncorrespondent of Summit Television, a new business news channel based in South Africa jointly owned by the Financial Times from London and Times Media Ltd of South Africa.
Mandiwanzira was then managing director of the African Business Connections until 2002 when he became chief executive officer ofMighty Movies, following the purchase of the company from its original shareholders. He then worked for SABC, South Africa's State broadcaster, as the Zimbabwe Correspondent. Mandiwanzira joined the Al Jazeera English news channel as Zimbabwe correspondent. Recently, he has left the channel to pursue his growing media interests which include Civil Construction, Mining, Property Development,cinemas, radio and television production, and newspapers. He won a National Assembly seat on the ZANU-PF ticket in Nyanga South and was appointed to serve as the Deputy Minister of Media, Information and Publicity.

He appeared on the BBC's HARDtalk television program on May 13th, 2014, defending the Zimbabwean government's recent policies. 

He is active in Zimbabwe cricket and chairs one of the five franchise teams in the country Mountaneers. The franchise contributes the bulk of the national team players among them former captain Hamilton Masakadza, Tino Mawoyo and others.
