IJOGBON, the latest production that KAP Motion Pictures and Directed by Kunle Afolayan is embarking on in collaboration with NETFLIX

 

IJOGBON is a coming of age film about four teenagers - (OBY, JAMIU, RANTI & OMOOBA) in the sleepy town of Oyo Oke. 

Their lives take an unexpected turn when they discover a hidden pocket of diamonds, which sets them on a journey full of detours. 

How do they deal with the fallout from their discovery?

Discover the answer in this compelling story of secrets, friendship, and the quest for freedom. 

The movie IJOGBON is a NETFLIX original that Kunle Afolayan produced and directed for KAP MOTION PICTURES/GOLDEN EFFECTS PICTURES. 

IJOGBON is the name of the latest production that KAP Motion Pictures is embarking on in collaboration with NETFLIX and under the direction of Kunle Afolayan.

IJOGBON, a coming-of-age family story written by award-winning Tunde Babalola, follows four youngsters from a small community in South-West Nigeria who accidentally discover a bag full of diamonds and hide it, much to their dismay.

Not even a cold rainy night, could stop film lovers from coming out in numbers for the Heroes & Zeros test screening. The event, the first of its kind to be organized by Talking Drum Entertainment was a very lively occasion with guests watching the film, giving their candid opinions via a questionnaire then engaging in vigorous, good humoured discussions over food and drinks.

Moses Babatope of Talking Drum said ” We plan to make these test screenings a major part of what we do, connecting the film audience with the film maker on a platform were they can exchange ideas and hopefully the outcome will be a better film for all”.

Chris Jeyibo of Koga Studios said ‘this is a very important part of the film making process for us and we intend to take on board, as much as possible going forward”.

Koga Studio’s plan a summer 2013 International release for Heroes & Zeros. This fantastic movie stars the likes of Bimbo Manuel, Nadia Buari, Olu Jacob, Akin Lewis, Tina Mba, Funsho Adeolu, Gabriel Afolayan, Nobert Young and many others
