TO THE MEMORY OF THE LATE CHIEF JUSTUS ESIRI (OON) - 1942 – 2013

The Producers of THE ASSASSIN’S PRACTICE, on behalf of the cast and crew, do hereby convey our deepest sympathy to the entire family, friends and fans of the late Chief Justus Esiri (OON).

The late Chief Esiri was a reassuring pillar of support during and after the production of The Assassin’s Practice. He will be greatly missed. But while we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his contributions to and achievements in the Nigerian, and indeed African entertainment industry.

The Assassin’s Practice, scheduled for Nigeria Theatrical release from Friday the 22^nd of February 2013 is hereby dedicated to the memory of the Late Chief Justus Esiri (OON).

Breaking News: Another Legendary Nollywood Actor, Justus Esiri Is Dead!

As Nigerian Entertainers are still mourning the passing away of Goldie, another movie icon, Legendary actor Justus Esiri has died.

The Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), famous for his role as the Village Headmaster in popular 80's sitcom of the same name, passed on last night in a Lagos hospital.

Uncle Justus Esiri as he's fondly called has featured in several Nollywood movies. One of them is The Andrew Ukoko's Film, THE ASSASSIN'S PRACTICE to be released across the Nigeria cinemas from this Friday 22nd February.

He is the father of the Music Artist, Dr Sid. May his soul rest in peace!

The Andrew Ukoko's 'THE ASSASSINS PRACTICE' Hits Cinemas across Nigeria on 22nd February 2013

The Movie, The Assasin’s Practice, will be released in cinemas across Nigeria on 22nd February 2013. The movie was Produced by Andrew Ukoko and Dele Ajakaiye, Directed by Andrew Ukoko.

The Assasin’s Practice, tells the story of failed stock investor, Eviano Esiri (Justus Esiri), who hires an assassin, to take his life, so that his family would live off his life insurance. He organises an impromptu holiday for his wife, and daughter, to protect them from witnessing the assassination. Two opportunist robbers turn up and will not leave or let anyone leave without getting money. However their reign of terror is brought to an end with the entrance of the psychotic assassin. As the hour ticks away, Eviano knows he must do everything to protect his family.

It stars Justus Esiri, Kate Henshaw, Eve Pearson, David Nnaji, Sarah Akokhia, Uche Monye, and Daphne Akatugba and many more.

The Asssassins Practice was shot in Nigeria and in the UK. It was premiered in London on May 11, 2012 and It was also screened on November 4, 2012, at the Film Africa - the largest annual festival of African cinema and culture in the United Kingdom.

The Assasin’s Practice will be available at Silverbird Galleria, Silverbird Ikeja, Ozone Yaba, Silverbird Abuja, Filmhouse Surulere and Filmhouse Calabar from.
