The buzz is that talented producer and former actress, Ego Boyo is staging a comeback into the production block after few years of disappearing from the scene.
She is dragging the celebrated actor-turned-politician, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) along with her, as she concludes plans to commence shooting of a film adaptation of a novel by award winning writer, Sefi Atta.

Ego, best known for her role as Anne Haatrope, in the 80s soap opera, ‘Checkmate” produced her last movie, “30 Days” about three years ago, and since then nothing have been heard from her.
Her current project is generating a lot of excitement due to her reputation for quality and the impressive array of talent she has assembled for the project.
HVP gathered that the new film will be directed by award winning director, Akin Omotoso (Man on Ground), and it will feature the likes of Richard Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Lala Akindoju, and Chukie Edozien (a.k.a Lynyxxx) amongst others. A number of the actors featuring in the movie are currently in rehearsal camp.
